Is the blank white space of about two and half inches wide over on the right supposed to be there? Will we be allowed to use that space later or is that something you are going to be using?

That space is reserved for your blog title. Some blogs use up that space (if they have a long title) others use a lot less of it. I haven't given it much thought, but its possible we can set something up to allow you to put something there. You saw how ugly that guy with the thumbs up picture was there though. The jagged white edges.

Is it going to be possible for us to put one small picture over in the left hand column? Pretty please?? Or, can we do that already and I just don't know how?

What kind of picture were you thinking? The plan is to give the option of putting a small picture next to the bio.

Did the center html command get stripped out? How do I go about centering them again? Or is that a no-no?

Yes, I stripped those html tags out of blog entries. I want to keep them uniform so that any visitor to your blog or mine can expect to see the same layout of text. You can still use <b> <i> and <u> but I don't want to get too crazy with the HTML at least in the blog entries. On your blog 'pages' you can do whatever you want with HTML.

They all have ads. They only show up on inside pages though (not your blog home page).

Right but when I click the color I would like the header to turn into (for instance) it says error in page at the bottom left hand corner of the screen. When I hit update it says the same. That was the part I was confused about.

hey, BA, don't make me sound all nefarious and stuff!!!

turns out that out of three browsers on my machine, the ads show up in FireFox and IE, but not in Maxthon (odd since it basically runs on top of IE). i didn't set up Maxthon to block the ads, but i did update to their newest version about a month ago and it would appear they block them automatically... since i use Maxthon for personal browsing, FF for dev, and IE only when i have to *grin* i never noticed the difference in ad handling...

at any rate, mystery solved!

No, my page is still hoggin up a lot of space in IE, but apparently it is just me. Must be my browser settings or something. I'll survive. I usually use FF anyway.
