Here are some simple rules that I want to remind everyone:
1. You are allowed to disagree with people and debate as forcefully as you want on the topic. You are free to list all the ways you think that someone's reasoning is stupid, but you are not allowed to turn things personal and call other members here stupid no matter how much you may disagree with them. Turning things personal does nothing to further discussion on the topic which is the reason we are all here.
2. If you think a post is out of bounds or is trolling, use the "report post" button (that red triangle with the black line icon in the upper right hand corner) and I will take a look at it.
3. If there is someone that you don't want to read their posts, you can place them on your ignore list. Go to your control panel, scroll down and on the left hand side under the "Miscellaneous" heading is a "Buddy / Ignore Lists" - place the person on your ignore list.
4. As this forum gets bigger, there are going to be a larger number of people seeking help and asking questions. With more people will also come a wider variety of opinions. If you can't comment without making it personal or you think the person is trolling, it's better not to comment at all.
One of the things that I admire about these forums is that even with the debates that take place in them, it always remains civil and it rarely breaks down into name calling. Let's keep it that way
