Who's seeking refuge in Canada or abroad if Trump wins?
Would Canada or any other country want you? Do you have something to offer that they are looking for? I don't really think I could prove that I do have anything to offer.

I could've nursed there in some remote location but I don't want to be so far from family. Bermuda also desperately needs nurses but I couldn't afford to live there. Sigh, stuck here.
I'm starting to get really freaked out about Trump. He could undo so much good in the name of saving money, plus he would suck at foreign policy and the list, to me, goes on and on. I have dialed back reading about him or watching the news because it actually stresses me out. I know some see him as entertainment and I did in the beginning. Now I see him as a real threat and I just don't want to hear anymore until it's time for me to vote in the Dem primary.
I'm not prepared to give up my US Citizenship no matter who is in the White House.
The President isn't a dictator, and at most they can hold office for 8 years.
Yeah, I think that pretty much sums it up.
I don't seriously think Trump can win the election anyway. It's not anything I am worried about. I see an already splintered Republican party becoming more splintered.

I don't believe that I could duplicate the prosperity that I've enjoyed in the USA anywhere else in the world.
Contemplating renouncing one's citizenship because of who may get into office is irrational, short-sited, and pure paranoia.
Agreed, based on *just* being elected to office--not a reason for me to take off (yet).
Trump doesn't support marriage equality and that's kind of a big thing for me and my (gay) husband. We waited 10 years for the right to marry in our state, now we're married, and if Trump or anyone else thinks they're going to undo that and does, then, we're out.
It's also the un-doing that Trump proposes on immigration, healthcare. Cutting programs without any transition or plan going forward could make the US a pretty unstable place.

Just remember, Trump can't do anything without the blessing of Congress. And the Supreme Court will always have final say if someone takes an issue before them.
I don't foresee anyone touching marriage rights with a ten foot poll no matter who they are. Not sure what he would do about healthcare and immigration, but again, Congress is in the way of both issues.

this is the stuff I am afraid of, if healthcare gets more expensive again that is not only a personal disaster for me but for millions of others. Plus all the other drivel that could become a reality. There are already so many divisive tensions between groups of people here and he is looking to back certain types of people and screw the rest. Our nation is divided enough, we do not need our top leader to be a bigot, anti-woman and the rest. We need somebody to bring people together.

Right, except for the rich and 1%. Oh yeah and white "cisgendered" males!
They suck too.
Liberalism has their favored groups. Ridiculous to pretend otherwise.

Lighten up, Francis.
I think you've got that one wrong, but you're welcome to cite your sources.
I want whichever candidate isn't going to c*ck things up. Trump is gonna c*ck everything up.
He doesn't have a plan to improve health outcomes and reduce the number of uninsured citizens. Free market healthcare hasn't reduced costs or improved outcomes in the last 20 years.
He wants financial institutions to run free. I was an income earner when the economy bottomed out in 2009. What a great plan de-regulating the financial industry was.
He doesn't know foreign policy. He's too aggressive there. He thinks he's going to have a wall built so illegals can't cross from Mexico, and then send Mexico the bill. Meanwhile, carpet bombing "Isis" ....get real, man.
He is unable to evaluate the consequences of cleaning up and slimming entitlement programs. Cutting costs is one thing. But he has no plan to support the truly poor and vulnerable, the veterans, the coming epidemic of under-funded retirees in this country.
But, the debt! Yeah, it's not that big of a problem. And if history maintains course, the next Republican president will push the country even further into debt.
