  • tips on how to save money, need around $1000?

So, I have to save $1000 before the end of the school semester which begins Jan 27th and ends sometime in May but I need to have the $1000 before April

you see, I am running low on funds for school. I might have to resort to a loan which I do not want for Fall 2015 semester. I have about a little over half my tuition for this semester. I do not know what to do with saving money. I decided I am going to save my Christmas money if I get any from family, I am going to sell clothes I do not wear anymore to Buffalo Exchange (some girl made over $100 but I do not know what she was trying to sell. I have a lot of jewelry I am not wearing so I should just go and sell it with clothes)

I also walk a dog and I walk the dog for $15 a walk, that's what my neighbors offered me. I'm scared and I need the $1000 probably by Jan 27th but I don't have to pay for school until the end of the semester or I cannot sign up for classes. Then I have to do all this saving again for next fall

how can I save and not spend? I am making money tomorrow but i'll only have $34 bucks to my name (actually $36 when I cash in a scratch ticket) Any tips on how to make a quick $1000 that does not involve walking the dog, selling my clothes, or selling online? ( I cant sell my books online, amazon wont let me sell for some reason)

good news, just selling old textbooks online and by selling two textbooks I already have $92.31 and the $6 ($4 I have and $2 on a scratch ticket) that is $98.31

and if I add the $30 I am getting from walking the dog today and tomorrow, that is a total of $128.31.

so that's $871.69 I need, big jump from $1000 an hour ago. Of course I have to ship the textbooks and wait for the checks to come in the mail. i'm lucky if I am going to find any other textbooks for cash, that was a big huge jump for one hour

Do you have anything else lying around the house you can sell? Old phone? Broken jewelry? That is another way to get some quick cash. Also try giving services to other students. I had a friend in college that cut hair for $10 and he was always busy and made a few hundred bucks a week.
