Out in Oregon the Ducks are really popular. I don't have any team apparel, but it seems like pretty much everyone else does.

Do you spend money on Sports apparel or Events?

Well I do have a weakness for football and I am sucker for shoes. So I do spend quite a lot on Sport apparel. Also I am fitness junkie so I do own a few running shoes which again don't make sense to own that many because it's you running that makes the difference at the end of the day.

Last week I bought on pre-sale 2 tickets to what has the potential to be a very hot NBA game. I am treating my baby brother for his 50th birthday. In my adult life (the past 35 years) this is only the 3rd time I have purchased tickets to a pro sports event, and it's by far the most I've spent. I'm not supporting the team; I'm helping a special guy celebrate a milestone birthday.
I have purchased pro or college sports T-shirts because they were on clearance for a couple bucks. I didn't care what team it was.

I do not care for any sports, so no I do not spend money on it. There isn't really anything I just spend money on because I support it or love it like that. The closest I would have to something like this is electronics, but even that I really limit. I have to avoid windows shopping(<- lol get it? online, nm..) or I will eventually find something I must have. This was actually the source of a lot of my credit card debt back in the day. The first thing I bought on credit card was a set of computer speakers. I still have the speakers 14 years later.Last edited by GoodSteward; 09-18-2016, 03:21 AM.Everything happens for a reason. Spending money on sports apparel is a major waste of cash. The best thing to do is buy good quality generic clothing which you can wear for any occasion - like polo shirts or trousers for men or pants for women.
The quality aspect is important here. Most mens shirts are good for maybe 30 or 40 washes before they are pretty much done. If you buy quality, you actually get more shirt for your money. So for a better quality shirt you can get 50 or 60 washes before the garment has to go to goodwill.james.c.hendrickson@gmail.com
