I just signed up for a account with HSBC. I was wondering when signed into their account is there anyway to see the current interest rate I am receiving? I just switched for ING so still getting used to the new layout.

No, they don't. I like the fact that you can see the daily interest - that's a neat thing. I don't particularly care for their customer service reps. They are not that friendly and are very much snippy and tend to cut you off. Personally, I like Ing. It's good to try our different banks. You'll always come back to the tried and true.

Other than their snail paced bank to bank transfer time, I have had good luck with HSBC. I kept my account open for a year hoping for a promo. I had only $5.00 in my on line savings but moved 10K in on the first of February. They paid 5.83% (6%APY) for last month as promised.
Does anyone have a free checking account with them? I am considering opening one so I have quick access to the monthly interest in the future. I'd appreciate your opinion of their check account accuracy and service. Have you had any problems with your checking account?
