  • Without Your Stuff, Who Are You?

    I think that this being an acceptable commercial to motivate people to buy a product pretty much shows what a consumer oriented country the US is. I cringed:

    I didn't really get that at all. They aren't talking about physical stuff. They are talking about data, documents, photos, music, etc. They are talking about protecting your hard drive. I didn't view it in the same way as you apparently Jeffrey.

      Not so sure that's a good commercial to show what a consumer driven society we are either. As Steve said, they are talking more about data than they are about physical posessions. Unless something can be implied from their slogan "Without your stuff, who are you?"

        Yes, I do take issue with that. The implication that what is on your hard drive is what makes you who you are is a bit extreme.
