Hello all. I'm the voice behind MakingMilly.com. It has been fun, but I've put in a year of hard work with very little views.
I'm going to downsize this year and focus on a different venture. (producing drawings and instructions for some of my father in law's brilliant inventions while he's still around: log doweler, mini saw mill, plastic injection molder, apple juice press, car rotisserie, backpacking gold dredge...)
I REALLY don't want to just delete my stuff and want it to be available permanently. Putting my stuff up on SavingAdvice seems to make the most sense except for four potential problems:
1. I don't see pictures on other people's blogs. Is that not an option? How can you drive Pinterest traffic without pictures? I could upload the picture onto Pinterest, but the viewer will feel like they were sent to the wrong page.
2. I don't see attachments either. Can I attach an excel spreadsheet? Or do I have to create a Google Drive folder for them to download from.
3. Analytics. Is there a way to collect data such as how many views a particular post gets, links they click within the posts, or where the viewers are coming from? I don't think I can link Google Analytics unless I have access to the page's header HTML code.
4. Customization: can I do any HTML coding for font colors or inserting online calculators?
Thank you for any questions you can answer!
