  • I looked at their feedback. Several negatives and neutrals. Not good. I suspect some of that is because of the drop shipping. They’re gambling that the store will have something in stock when they sell one. It looks like they got burned a few times. Always check the feedback before buying. No way I would have bought from someone with such bad feedback.

They have 91 reviews, not 9. They’ve been on eBay since 2021. Their profile even says they are drop shipping so they aren’t even trying to hide their deception. I hate that bad sellers like this get away with breaking the rules and good sellers get dinged for stupid stuff.

    • I see, interesting. Prior to purchasing a pop up window from Microsoft appeared indicating that Walmart had this same item for $2.69 so I went to Walmart's website and indeed the same item was $2.69 but shipping was another $6.99, unless I added more items to my cart where $35 or more would have free shipping. So I decided to purchase thru eBay for $4.80 w/free shipping. I had no idea or concept of drop shipping. It's too late now for me to report the seller to eBay because I gave the seller a glowing review for the same day delivery. And for the extra $2 it saved me time and gas of having to drive to Walmart to shop for the acetone.

      • Yeah to have “free” shipping with Walmart you need to join their club which is like Amazon Prime so eBay saved you in that sense. Still what that seller is doing isn’t allowed on eBay.

        • I wanted to order 2 more rolls but sold out. Good thing I placed an order last week for 2 rolls. In addition, they never applied tax which was a jackpot for me (and free shipping over $99). Ebay has some as well but taxes will be added.

          • The great thing about this add is: the nickels look old and dirty. You'd never guess from their appearance that the metal is worth more than face value.

            • Just placed another order for 40% silver $10 face value for $75 w/free shipping and no tax, $75 / 20 coins = $3.75 each. Wanted to also order more mercury dimes but none in stock so I just have to be patient and wait until they get more. Other dealers have it but I don't want to pay for shipping and taxes which can add up to another $15 to $20 to the sale price.

              • This Cheap Method Can Clean Ugly Coins - YouTube

It works but I found that I have to scrub the coin with the dissolved baking soda & water solution using it sort of like sandpaper to remove the stubborn tarnish & grime still stuck to the coins. It doesn't magically become clean, you have to use elbow grease to make it clean.

I’ll tell you what. Send me as much of that worthless paper money toilet paper as you can and I’ll send back plenty of darn fine toilet paper. I’ll give you a great exchange rate. Let’s say 10 sheets of my toilet paper for every one sheet of yours.

                    • Ha-ha, no thanks. We diversify asset classes (ie, energy, technology, financials, etc). But we hold 100% in dollars or Euros or pesos or whatever currency it may be. I chose to hold 10% in precious metals working my way up to 20% but no way the likes of Robert Kiyosaki. Crypos even less maybe 2.5% currently of my total net worth. Real estate would be great but none to my name. But I'll be ready to pounce at the next crash.

                        • From the $400 win got a hundred worth of $10 bills to disperse to my office crew for lunch money which isn't much these days but something. Maybe they can get a burrito or quesadilla from the lunch wagon.

That's a nice gesture. I would periodically buy lunch for my team when I was full time.

Did you actually walk out of the casino with $400 more than you arrived with?

                            • I was neggie $120 when I got the AWAK (aces with a kicker) so my overall tally was $280. Before getting the AWAK, I was thinking it's time to go home soon and I was willing to lose $150 total. Then it dealt 4 aces with a five. Dumped the five and low and behold got a four kicker for the 8000 nickels.
