Business Credit Card

Figured I'd crowd source this one.

Any tips or ideas regarding choosing a business credit card for my company?

My initial research says to base my choice on the expenses I will most likely incur.

In no particular order, I'd say the expenses will revolve around Gas, Office Supplies/Copies and Book purchases.

I appreciate any thoughts. Thanks.

I'm just speaking off the top of my head here, but American Express does have a few options for small business owners. They may be worth a look at.

SWB - I am hearing bad things about American Express. Supposedly they are getting squeezed out of market share because their fee structure is too high and their once excellent customer service has gone downhill.

I have the Capital One Spark card...2% cash back on every purchase.

I've definitely read about various AMEX business credit cards but perhaps it's my own personal bias, but I tend to view AMEX as the least accepted card (for whatever reasons, if I imagine store signs saying they don't accept cards, it's almost always AMEX).

I'm currently looking at a card that gives rewards for gas, office supplies and restaurants so I think it's a pretty good fit. I'll do more research to be sure.

AMEX is accepted almost everywhere. Keep an eye out where you shop the next couple days. I use an AMEX almost exclusively for every single thing I purchase. Maybe once every other month (except for Costco now) I have to break out the Visa/MC.
