I used Restaurant.com a lot but for some reason stopped in 2010. Today I got a code so that all $25 certificates are $4 (the code for this is LEAP), $10 ones were $1.60. I found 6 places we would go and for $16, I got $100 "worth" of food.
then I looked in my account, all the stuff I had from 2010 is still in there and there are no expiration dates.
and now there is an app so I don't even have to bother printing the certificates.
the only cons I remembered were you sometimes had to buy more food than the certificate was good for but that was never hard to do. And not great selection where I live.
We eat take out too often or I take my dad out to eat after he has driven me to countless MD appts. We are spending more in this category than we should. Restaurant.com is letting me plan meals out that won't break the bank. I think I'm happy I went back.
Anyone like it or hate it? I can't figure out how anyone makes any money when they run special deals like today.
