I read a few of my private messages, one dated 2006. It's been 10 years!

Since then I've moved to North Carolina and bought my land. We bought a small house to live in temporarily. We're comfortable. I need to save more money for my new home on my 10 acres!

Duchesse! I remember you!

I remember you in threads that included a lot intimate philosophizing (by all participants!) about the interface of money/saving and everyday life. There were some really rich discussions. I think there was more attention to the nuts and bolts of household economy in those days, and that fed some of those juicy discussions.

You've made me remember Princess Perky, Aleta, Sweeps, Scanner (who still pops in once in a while), Lux Living, PricePlus ...on and on.
