Has anyone here used StubHub to purchase tickets and if so, how was it? I'm looking to buy some tickets to an upcoming concert through them but wanted to get some feedback beforehand.

I've bought many event tickets in the past off of Ebay and never had a problem. I'm just a little leery that you can't get in touch with the sellers or any ratings of them using StubHub. Any thoughts?

We used StubHub a year and a half ago to purchase National Championship game tickets at the Rose Bowl. They delivered our tickets to our hotel in Pasadena the day before the game and called afterwards to confirm we had received them. Overall, a great experience and I recommend them highly.

It's safe. If you don't receive the tickets, you just contact StubHub and they will issue a refund. StubHub holds the money for 7 days before they pay the seller to ensure that transaction goes smoothly. They also check the delivery status with FedEx, and will only pay the seller if the tickets have been delivered to the buyer.

I haven't heard any bad experiences with them, I was just looking for some other's input. Thanks for the replies.

My greatest fear is that the tickets are bogus. Sure, in the end I may be able to get my money back, but what good does that do me while standing outside of a sold-out event with no way of getting in? Fortunately, the show I'm looking at probably won't sell-out so even if they aren't legit, I would still be able to get in and hopefully recoup my money later if that were to happen.

As an FYI, StubHub is now owned by eBay.
