  • Online cigarettes stores

I really need some help, my husband smokes but has recently lost his job and whilst he has really cut down his smoking he cannot give up. I am really fed up of trying to budget everything and pay for his cigarettes and was wondering if the online cigarette sites are any good and will I get my order. I cannot afford to be scammed and wondered if anyone had used any of the sites and could recommend one to me.
    Thank you

I don't smoke, so I have no experience with an online retailer that sells cigarettes. But, I do know that it is much cheaper to roll your own cigarettes. If he can't/won't quit smoking, which would be ideal, then you should at least looking into rolling your own.

I wouldn't to anything to enable someone I loved to smoke. It's worth the cost to use the 'patch' BUT he'll make himself very ill if he continues to smoke while using the patch. Try to make a deal, can't pay for cigarettes and you will give up ____________[whatever you really like] I'd ask him to ride a bike, paint furniture or walls, work in the garden, wash windows...anything you can think of that keeps hands busy making it impossible to smoke.

while I smoke cigars and not cigarettes what I have learned seeing people on my bus is that when times are tough people buy a roller and hand roll their cigarettes. On Roll Your Own .com they have hand rollers for only $3 about 100 papers for rolling is $1 then 6 oz of loose tobacco is $10. There is approximately 1/2 an oz of tobacco in a $7 pack of cigarettes. Also, you can buy the filters for cheap too. So if you roll your own, a 20 pack comes down to about $1.50 for the paper, tobacco, and filters.

Or you can also go on Ebay and find coupons for the particular brand of cigarettes he likes. While I do not support cigarette smoking on a regular basis, I also understand how not having a smoke during your rough time will only make the stress worse so you might as well let him continue to smoke as much as possible and think about quitting after he gets a job, which by the way I am sorry to hear, best of luck to you, just do some research, there are many ways to save on a smoke.

BE CAREFUL, because some of the places that sell (reservations) online get audited yearly and although someone might save initially, thye get tax bills the next yr from their states.

In the UK we all buy our cigarettes abroad, it is always much cheaper. Our tax rates for nicotine fixes are high due to the scary volume of do-gooders in the UK, if people wish to do something like smoke, they should be allowed to full stop. Here they like to legislate to raise taxes, that is all they are interested in really.

E-Cigarettes are next to be banned in the UK, on health grounds, they are being turned into 'medicines' so get your stocks in now is my advice. Ant

If you ever travel, try buying in bulk from duty free stores before you come back into the country. The US takes a bunch of money from cig sales, so buying tax free is the way to go.

Honestly, I would not budget for a bad habit like that. If he's the one that refuses to give it up, he'll have to come up with the cash to pay for it. Plain and simple, no point in enabling. From a purely financial standpoint, it really makes to sense for you to get anxiety over his bad habit when the financial problem could so easily be solved. Anyone could give it up, it just takes some willpower.

I don't think you can buy them online in the United States like you used to be able to. Five or so years ago, you could get 10-12 dollar cartons of off brand cigarettes. The kind that you would never see in a gas station. Some brands were alright, others didn't taste very good.

I had a friend who bought a few cartons of Marlboro's online from China a couple of years back. The packaging looks like Marlboro, but they are certainly not. You can get them for about 20/carton with shipping if you buy 8 at a time, but those were very disgusting. And they are probably subject to being seized by customs, if the package were to be inspected.

If you smoke a pack of cigarettes a day, you can make your own for about 50 dollars per month. You buy bags of tobacco and boxes of tubes. The tubes are the paper already attached to the filter. You use a machine to inject the tobacco into each tube. Some of the machines are electric and others are manual that have a spring loaded lever on them. And the really really cheap ones are made of plastic and only cost about 3 dollars. I would stay away from those. They are low quality, difficult to use.

Most tobacco stores sell everything you'd need.

I buy my supplies from SmokersOutletonline.com
It costs me $50 for enough to make 4 cartons and that includes their outrageous shipping fees.
I first got one of the manual machines - works, but it time-consuming and takes a toll on your arm and shoulder.
That website sells the electric one for $100, but I found the same machine on Amazon for $70.
Doesn't take long to recoup the investment when you're saving 75-80% on your cigarettes.

Smoking is an addiction, most people can't just stop - even if other things make it challenging for the smoker to smoke. And even if they really want to stop. It takes time and a ton of will power and support. Everyone's situation is different.

I used to get them from a fisherman. When they are sold in intercoastal waters there isn't tax, making them a ton cheaper. Do you live near the water?
