What are your non financial related hobbies?

I am one of the leaders of an all volunteer pro-gun political action commitee called the Buckeye Firearms Association, and I love watching the UFC (Ultimate Fighting Championship). I am also considering taking fencing lessons.

    What about you?

I LOVE to read and I like to crochet. I happen to be allergic to a lot of yarns so I have to get certain ones. I love geneaology and history and am compiling information. I would like to learn more about scrapbooking and dig into the piles of great pictures and mementos that we have. I have books, yarn, and some of the fees for the geneaology built into the budget. I don't use all of it most months so I can splurge when I need to. I collect local pottery when we travel, but that is built into vacation money.

Why hello there, fellow pro-gun activist!

Well, I'm not really an activist, but folks that know me here can vouch that I'm fairly pro-gun.

I still eat out sometimes. And movies. And occasional video gaming. It's about the only non-financial activities that I am involved in right now.

How did I forget to mention that I am totally obsessed with BBQ and smoking. Smoking as in a way of cooking meats like ribs, and chicken.

I used to have tons of hobbies - freestyle downhill skiing, running, cooking, all kind of Arts (especially in quill ink pen), sewing apparel designs / home interiors stuff.

Unfortunately for unknown reasons I just lost touch with those things and no longer have desires. Right now I pretty much keep up with maintaining my landscaping/gardens and starting two classes in September for my Business degree. So school is going to be the hobby whether I like it or not lol!

Oh actually I do have a big fun hobby... I love spending time with my gentleman! We tandem bike, watch Netflix, daily walks, dance at home and etc. We are glued to each other! Maybe that explains why I no longer do the stuff I mentioned in the first paragraph!

Reading, video games, my dogs (I'm obsessed with them), hiking, biking, video games (to emphasize), my blog.

My DH loves cooking, especially smoking meats and bbq. I like eating and drinking. I like making stuff like raclette, fondue, ice cream, etc.

I love reading and organizing things. I've recently gotten into biking. I also love going to the theater (ballet, opera, musicals) and I also sing and play the cello (kind of. When I have the time to play).

My dad and I used to go target shooting every few weeks but have unfortunately stopped. Hopefully I'll get back into that.

I took a traditional style of martial arts that did what the UFC pretty much does now before they existed. However, because it's a traditional martial arts, their emphasis was less on cage fighting and more on bodyguard work. VERY cool. But yes, I love watching the UFC too. I loved the no-holds barred nature of the original UFC, but I have to say, today's fighters have become very sophisticated.

Mmmmkay. Now you got me curious. What kind of video games?

Interesting! I used to play the cello extensively. Was a regular for all-state back in high school, as well as being in the pit orchestra. That got me to love theater.

Gosh, I have always loved to read. I used to play a lot of volleyball (sand and indoor like 3 times a week) but I moved away and don't know anyone here who plays.

I like fixing up houses, but I actually like being able to do it and then shut the door if I don't get it done and then come back a week or two later. Don't pressure me!

My DH and I like to play Halo on X-box.

Say what?! Your hubby is one lucky, lucky man.

By the way, you really need to see this.
