  • I'm so excited!

Oh Friday, August 29th, I will have $9,553 in my INGdirect savings account. That is so close to $10,000!

I can't believe it! As a 5th year teacher making $42,000 this past year...I have NEVER saved up this much money!

I started to aggressively saving in the end of February 2008 with NOTHING in my account.

Thank you everyone SO MUCH for helping me!

Congratulations... $10K saving in 6 months with the salary of under $42K per year is great. Thanks for sharing your joy with us.

Keep doing the same while investing the savings wisely. Good luck.

That's great! Five digits is a nice milestone to reach.

Very nice. That's quite a rainy day fund you've socked away in half a year, and on a fairly modest paycheck!

                    Thanks so much!

I'm hoping to double it by early spring...

I'm saving toward a downpayment on a home...and I need to put about $10,000 toward my wedding.

                              Congrats. Thats great.

I wish I had saved that much in my saving account. I make more than double your salary but I have CC debt which i am paying off.

                              Congrats once again.
