I tried bluerectangle.com -- entered 23 books (the best of my pile), but only 2 were accepted for a total of $2.12. Not too exciting. I assume with half.com I would be shipping the books off one by one as they are sold? I think I may just donate them all and take the deduction instead.

I'd rather sell them @ a rummage sale. Too much hubbub to do stuff online IMO

          bookstore, and online

I've always been happy with the bookstore. There are a couple online places I've used to sell back my books which worked good for me because my bookstore wasn't buying some of my books. Oh, duh ... I have to post this then come back because I forgot which companies I used, I'll check my history.

What's the best way to make money off of them -- ebay, used book stores, or just taking the deduction from donating them to the library? Do used books sell very well on ebay? Is it worth the effort? Do most used bookstores give money or only store credit?
Ebay is the most popular web store to sell used books. They offer good cash on these old books. You can also try some good online book stores such as Amazon, Oxford book store, Book Adda, Powell’s Books, BookMooch, AbeBooks, and Zapper etc.
